It was resized and new banding and crosses were added. The altar is a beautiful wood antique altar from Belgium. The red fabric you see is the vesperale (altar dust cover).

A beautiful antique embroidery piece. The embroidery is beautiful and detailed. The face is painted. Crown with metallic threads. I purchased this on a chalice veil that I didn’t particular like. I removed it and hand sewed the embroidery onto silk and made a chalice pall measuring 8 inches.

Silk Rose Set to Match Antique Vestment

Father D has a beautiful antique rose vestment and he wanted to have matching pieces to compliment the vestment. I did some minor repairs and cleaning of the fiddleback vestment. Constructed the stole, maniple, burse & chalice pall from rose silk matching the style as much as possible.

Vintage Hand-embroidered Pieces of Various Designs

A stole made from a wedding gown. I was asked by a client to make stoles from her wedding gown which she wanted to put to good use after sitting in a box for many years. The gown was made from satin which I used for the length of the stole. The embroidery is on matte satin. Antique gold cross with crown of thorns embroidered over it. Olive branches embroidered on the bottom panels. She commissioned several which she is gifting to her priest friends.
